Silent Key - Jim McKeown WA6IO

Unfortunately, long time member Jim McKweon recently passed away. Jim was a Navy and police veteran with a lifelong passion for radio. He was always helpful and active in our community. He will be missed dearly by his friends in WARREA.


The WARREA breakfast meeting is held at 9:00 AM on the third Sunday of every month at Country Waffles, 2300 Athens Ave, Redding. Visitors and non-hams are always welcome.

Our non-profit organization is a group of amateur radio operators who promote all aspects of amateur radio technology. We are a family oriented organization. Both husbands and wives can be heard on our repeater as well as at the membership meetings. It is not limited to the parents, as we also enjoy having our children involved with the club.
